Located in Mt. Yuelu-Juzizhou Traveling Zone, a 5A national Scenic, the 300.8-meter high Mt. Yuelu is one of the 72 summits of Mt. Heng in the South and one of the four scenic spots for appreciating maple leaves in China. Mt. Lu is the core scenic area with Yuelu Academy, Aiwan Pavilion, Yueshan Temple, Yunlu Hall, School of New Democracy, etc.

Located in the center of Xiang River across downtown Changsha, Juzizhou is one of the many alluvial shoals and it is also the biggest inland shoal in the world. Surrounded by the river for dozens of kilometers, Juzizhou is west to Mt. Yuelu and east to Changsha. The narrowest part is about 40m and the widest part is about 140m. Being in the shape of a rectangular, it is one of the most important scenic spot in Changsha.

Initiated by Luo Dian, dean of Yuelu Academy, Aiwan Pavilion is first established in 1792 in Qing Dynasty. Aiwan Pavilion, Zuiwong Pavilion (1046) in County Chu in Anhui Province, Huxin Pavilion (1553) in the West Lake in Hangzhou, and Taoran Pavilion in Beijing Taoranting Park are called the Four Famous Pavilion in China. Aiwan Pavilion is originally called as Hongye Pavilion (Red Leaf Pavilion) or Aifeng Pavilion (Maple Leaf Pavilion). The name is changed because of Bi Yuan, Governor of Hunan and Guangdong Province. Aiwan Pavilion got its name according to a poem written by Du Mu, which reads:

Afar a winding path of stone goes up the cold hill,

To the houses where the white clouds hover still.

I stop my coach to behold the maple trees with joy,

Where frosted leaves gleam redder than blooms of February.

Changsha Window of the World is located at the banks of River Liuyang in the suburban area northeastern of Changsha. Changsha Window of the World is a large-scale cultural theme park jointly established by Hunan TIK Co., Ltd, OCT Group and China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited. There are over 100 architectures built according to different proportions inside it, creating a multi-level, high-end and appealing travelling space for tourists.

Tianxin Pavilion is located in central Changsha. It is historical site with Ancient Tianxin Pavilion and ancient city walls as the main scenic spots. Since the Ming Dynasty, Tianxin Pavilion is regarded as the symbol of old Changsha city. It is honored as the pavilion in the famous Changsha city in Qin and Han Dynasty.

With more than 1000 years of history, Kaifu Temple is one of the key public temples of Buddhism in China. In 927, Ma Xifan, son of Ma Yin, denoted part of Huichun Garden to Bao Ning, a monk who later established Kaifu Temple.

Taiping Street is with the most protected pattern between alleys and streets old Changsha city. There are 87 stores along the street with an operating area of nearly 30,000 sqm. Most of the stores feature time honored brands, scripts and paintings, national artwares and cultural and recreational products. It has attracted numerous famous masters to open studios in it, such as Li Fuyu, master of calligraphy and seal cutting in Xiling Society of Seal Arts and Chen Ximing, master of traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy.

With a length of 838m and width of 23 to 26m, Changsha Walking Street starts from Simenkou South and ends at Nanmenkou. Along the street is Huangxing Plaza with a total business floorage of 250,000 sqm in which 150,000 sqm is newly built with a total investment of 1 billion RMB. It is a comprehensive space that integrates shopping, leisure, recreation, food, culture and travel among other functions.

You can take a bus and get off at Huatu Jiaoyu Taiping Jiekou or Niuer Jiaou Nanyang Jiekou.
